📋 Description

• Conduct virtual video consultations and asynchronous encounters for metabolic health, weight management, perimenopause, menopause, and contraception • Prescribe and manage GLP-1 receptor agonists, hormonal therapies, and contraceptives according to guidelines, regulations, and Maven protocols • Collaborate with Medical Directors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and health coaches • Contribute to clinical protocol development, workflow optimization, eligibility criteria, safety standards, and escalation pathways • Order and interpret laboratory tests; manage medication titration and follow-up care • Provide patient education and counseling on behavior change, medication safety, and long-term health outcomes • Maintain documentation in Maven’s MPractice EMR according to quality, privacy, and compliance standards • Participate in case reviews, quality assurance audits, and clinician learning sessions • Help shape Maven’s virtual women’s and metabolic health care model

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO physician • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license • Licensed to practice medicine in at least 40 U.S. states • At least five years of clinical experience across primary care, women’s health, metabolic health, obesity medicine, or telehealth • Strong clinical judgment and confidence managing medications across hormonal and metabolic health indications • Comfortable working independently in a remote, early-stage care environment • Effective communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills • Ability to provide evidence-based, equitable care
