📋 Description

• Partner with product and design to identify the questions worth answering and scope research that answers them • Own the full study lifecycle, including research plans, participant recruiting, moderation, analysis, and synthesis • Run qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, usability sessions, and surveys • Choose the appropriate research method for each question • Share crisp readouts with the working team and digestible takeaways with the broader organization • Help define research tooling and processes, recommending what to adopt, drop, or change

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of user research experience, including consumer products • Experience designing and fielding surveys with sound methodology • Skilled interviewing and moderation abilities • Familiarity with AI-augmented research methods and tools • Track record of running research end to end with minimal oversight, ideally as a contractor, consultant, or solo researcher • Strong synthesis and communication skills to turn messy data into clear, decision-ready insights • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with weekly ship cycles • Experience in healthcare, tele-health, or another trust-sensitive consumer space is a plus • Experience researching subscription products or conversion funnels is a plus • Experience establishing research practices or tooling at an early-stage team is a plus • Active work authorization in the US required
