• Facilitate accreditation-related tasks and work with internal and external team members to ensure pharmacies meet accreditation requirements • Support accreditation compliance and quality initiatives • Work with team members to achieve service expectations and performance goals for pharmacies seeking or maintaining accreditation • Confer with management, supervisors, and employees regarding training needs and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and business technologies • Assist with staff training and implementation of processes related to accreditation standards, Continuous Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement projects, Quality Management, and accreditation compliance • Prepare reports and maintain records • Participate in internal and external meetings and complete associated tasks • Support regional and enterprise-level activities • Maintain corporate compliance and legal board of pharmacy inspection parameters • Resolve requests from internal departments, customers, audit entities, or regulatory bodies in a timely manner • Monitor processes and Standard Operating Procedures to maximize efficiency and support accreditation compliance • Report allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department • Complete required training and maintain regular attendance • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Current, unrestricted National and/or State Certified Pharmacy Technician license • Minimum 3 years’ experience in compliance, healthcare, quality, and/or accreditation • Experience with ACHC and/or URAC specialty pharmacy accreditation • Knowledge of pharmacy accreditation requirements, including ACHC and URAC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation • Knowledge of generally accepted pharmacy principles, practices, and procedures • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate using virtual tools with geographically dispersed team members • Detail oriented, able to work independently, and self-motivated • Ability to work effectively with limited information and moderate ambiguity • Effective oral and written communication skills • Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals to provide pharmacy support • Ability to work with close attention to detail and minimal errors • Alert, attentive, and precise • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Willingness to learn Smartsheet, Confluence, and other tools as necessary • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position • Must remain free from exclusion under OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists • Must complete required training within established timeframes
