📋 Description

• Review loan packages, underwriting guidelines, or data files to identify documentation necessary for review • Capture required information from documentation, including bookmarking relevant pages • Audit loans to determine salability or conduct final review of loan documentation for accuracy and completeness • Identify and document discrepancies during audits and track document issues • Enter data and fees from LEs, CDs, and COCs into the system of record and run issue analysis • Capture exceptions for incorrect or missing documentation, data errors, and LE/CD errors • Research and respond to rebuttals and responses to findings • Communicate with internal contacts to meet expectations and timelines, escalating issues as needed • Run system logic against captured information and handle resulting exceptions • Apply exceptions and handle validations to ensure complete and accurate reviews • Accurately track time spent on reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Quality Control/Due Diligence/Secondary Market (required) • Fraud investigative review experience within banking or lending preferred • Knowledge of principles, compliance regulations, and documentation applicable to mortgage lending • Mavent and Lauramac experience • Ability to meet production quality and service standards • High technical aptitude • Familiarity with Slack, Zoom, GSuite, and Microsoft Office • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Analytical ability, good judgment, and a detail-oriented, organized approach
