📋 Description

• Assemble multicam interview footage into clear narratives from transcripts and creative briefs • Cut music-driven b-roll sequences with an effective sense of pace • Perform basic color correction and grading • Mix dialogue, music beds, and room tone cleanly • Create lower thirds, titles, and simple motion graphics to brand specifications • Deliver spec-correct exports for web, social, and event playback • Incorporate client notes across two to three rounds while preserving the original cut’s intent • Work project by project as part of May Street’s freelance editor bench

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, including multicam workflows, shortcuts, and organized project bins • Comfortable cleaning dialogue audio to a broadcast-ready standard • Working knowledge of After Effects for titles and light graphics • Experience cutting interview-based or documentary-style work • Reliable turnaround and clear communication about capacity • Own hardware and software licenses • Internet connection capable of handling large media transfers • Reel or portfolio containing at least two relevant pieces • Nice to have: color grading experience • Nice to have: familiarity with nonprofit or education clients • Nice to have: comfort with cloud-based client review workflows
