📋 Description

• Administer and support PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server in Azure and on-prem environments • Support database migrations from on‑prem to Azure , including validation, performance tuning, and post‑migration stabilization • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and reliability issues using native tools and Datadog • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and high availability solutions • Use and help extend Liquibase for database schema and change management in CI/CD pipelines • Contribute to database provisioning and configuration through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices • Collaborate with application and platform teams supporting Kubernetes‑based workloads , ensuring databases integrate reliably with containerized applications • Automate routine operational tasks using scripting where appropriate • Follow and contribute to database security, compliance, and documentation standards • Participate in an on‑call rotation for production database support

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience • 7+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role • Strong (5-7 Years) hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server , including performance tuning and recovery • 7+ Years experience operating databases in Azure, AWS or GCP • Working knowledge of Liquibase , Terraform , or similar tooling • Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and how databases support those workloads • Experience (5-7 Years) with monitoring/observability tools such as Datadog • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar) • Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills
