📋 Description

• Serve as the lead subject matter expert for Workday Security strategy, design, configuration, role and group assignments, and support • Own and maintain Workday security configuration, including domain and business process security policies, security roles and groups, segmented security, integration security, and related framework components • Lead scalable security model design and maintenance while protecting confidential and sensitive data • Evaluate security changes, assess risk, and determine design solutions aligned with governance and segregation-of-duties requirements • Configure and maintain security for new Workday functionality, organizational changes, acquisitions, process updates, and business enhancements • Partner with HR, HR Operations, IT, and Workday teams on compliant security design • Provide guidance on least-privilege access, role design, approval frameworks, and Workday security best practices • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of security-related issues, access problems, process failures, role conflicts, and permission gaps • Assess security impacts of Workday feature releases, coordinate testing, document updates, and implement approved changes • Lead security reviews for Workday projects, enhancements, and production changes • Support audits, compliance, and internal control activities; maintain documentation, execute SOD audits, provide evidence, and address remediation items • Monitor and strengthen Workday Security governance, intake, approvals, testing, migration, audits, and access validation • Identify opportunities to improve security consistency, simplify role design, reduce manual access support, and strengthen controls • Guide analysts and cross-functional partners, review design decisions, and promote best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of Human Capital Management systems experience including Workday Security configuration, or advanced degree with at least 5 years of such experience • Hands-on experience with Workday Security configuration in a complex business environment • Workday PRO Security certification preferred • Experience in a principal, lead, or senior analyst role supporting Workday Security preferred • Experience supporting security across multiple Workday modules preferred • Experience with security implications of integrations, single sign-on, or identity and access management processes preferred • Experience supporting audit requests, control testing, remediation planning, and security certifications preferred • Familiarity with privacy, compliance, and data protection requirements in a regulated environment preferred • Experience in large, matrixed, or global organizations preferred • Experience establishing Workday security standards, governance processes, or operating models preferred • Experience mentoring analysts or leading cross-functional workstreams preferred • Deep experience with Workday domain security policies, business process security policies, security groups, role assignments, and access design • Experience leading security design decisions and configuring secure, scalable solutions across Workday modules • Experience supporting security governance, risk assessment, segregation of duties, and compliance-related controls • Experience troubleshooting complex Workday Security issues and resolving access-related production problems • Experience supporting testing, Workday release activities, and security-related change implementation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • U.S. work authorization sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles and above; applicable U.S. work authorization requirements apply
