• Serve as the primary technical and clinical resource for Cardiac Surgery within the Southeast • Partner with Territory Managers, District Managers, Area Leadership, Marketing, and Medical Affairs • Support physician training, first-case support, clinical education, market development, and physician adoption • Support cardiac surgery programs across academic institutions, high-volume centers, community hospitals, and strategic growth accounts • Partner with cardiac surgeons and physician assistants • Support first-case and complex-case procedures • Lead education initiatives for physicians, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers • Facilitate wet labs and hands-on training programs • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and develop growth opportunities • Develop expertise across Heart Valve, Left Atrial Appendage Management, Repair, Surgical Ablation, and Revascularization portfolios • Provide technical leadership for implantation and utilization of Surgical Based Therapy products and procedures • Educate physicians, physician assistants, perfusionists, and operating room staff • Troubleshoot and manage complex procedural challenges • Support physician adoption and growth phases • Assist with customer communication regarding device complaints, product evaluations, and explants • Collaborate on physician targeting and Medtronic-sponsored training attendance • Provide post-training follow-up, procedural reviews, in-servicing, and first-case support • Support minimally invasive cardiac surgery and advanced procedural training • Disseminate peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information • Maintain relationships with key customers, physician leaders, attending surgeons, and academic institutions • Support onboarding and development of sales representatives and clinical specialists • Deliver competitive and product training • Communicate competitive information, market trends, and clinical evidence • Maintain knowledge of peer-reviewed publications, clinical data, and standards of care • Schedule travel and maintain hospital access and vendor credentialing • Complete expense reports and required compliance training • Communicate with field, sales, leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and stakeholders • Report directly to the District Manager, Cardiac Surgery
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years experience including cath lab, CVOR, or Clinical experience OR Associate Diploma with a minimum of 5 years experience OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience • Experience with cardiac implantable devices • Experience with education and training techniques • Reside within the assigned territory • Valid driver's license • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment • Approximately 60–70% travel throughout the territory • Ability to support occasional physician training programs, national meetings, wet labs, and educational events outside the assigned geography • Available and willing to work evenings and weekends as required • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Maintain required training and compliance certifications • Ability to manage time, resources, and priorities across a large geography
