📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical and clinical resource for Cardiac Surgery within the Southeast • Partner with Territory Managers, District Managers, Area Leadership, Marketing, and Medical Affairs on growth initiatives and strategic account development • Support physician training, first-case support, clinical education, market development, and physician adoption activities • Provide technical leadership regarding implantation and utilization of Medtronic Surgical Based Therapy products and procedures • Educate physicians, physician assistants, perfusionists, operating room staff, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers • Troubleshoot and manage complex procedural challenges for physicians, customers, and sales staff • Provide procedural support and clinical coverage during physician adoption and growth phases • Collaborate on physician targeting and Medtronic-sponsored training programs • Provide post-training follow-up, procedural reviews, in-servicing, and first-case support • Support minimally invasive cardiac surgery and advanced procedural training initiatives • Disseminate peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, physician leaders, attending surgeons, and academic institutions • Support onboarding and development of sales representatives and clinical specialists • Deliver competitive and product training to sales representatives and clinical specialists • Communicate competitive information, market trends, and clinical evidence to field teams • Maintain current knowledge of publications, clinical data, competitive technologies, therapies, and standards of care • Schedule travel, maintain hospital access and vendor credentialing, complete expense reports, and maintain compliance certifications • Manage time, resources, and priorities across a large geography • Report directly to the District Manager, Cardiac Surgery

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience including cath lab, CVOR, or clinical experience OR Associate Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience • Valid driver's license • Ability to reside within the assigned territory • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered below Principal level • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Experience with cardiac implantable devices • Experience with education and training techniques • Ability to travel approximately 60–70% throughout the territory • Availability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required • Ability to support occasional training programs, national meetings, wet labs, and educational events outside the assigned geography • Ability to maintain required training and compliance certifications • Technical and clinical knowledge of cardiac surgery and surgical-based therapy products
