📋 Description

• Advance the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems using expertise in Epic Applications • Perform intermediate to advanced analysis, design, configuration, building, testing, and implementation of Epic applications and integrated technology • Translate user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions • Conduct project reviews and process walkthroughs incorporating technical, clinical, and business solutions • Provide technical knowledge supporting Epic, software applications, and operating systems • Apply information systems theory, processes, and methodologies • Advocate for and enforce technical development, application support, and information management standards • Support development projects and complex problem-solving efforts involving Epic and other applications • Participate in rotating after-hours technical support and provide ongoing Epic user support • Develop, prioritize, and execute projects according to schedules and timeframes • Coordinate assigned projects and document/report plans, priorities, schedules, and project status to the Manager • Contribute to preparing and delivering staff training sessions • Provide customer service and resolve customer issues or requests • Ensure safe care and adhere to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, standards, budget, time, supply, productivity, and quality requirements • Promote professional growth and development and serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associates degree, preferred • Epic Certification required • Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in Healthcare Information Systems or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation, or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required • Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System • Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required • Experience supporting complex problems • Experience assisting other Analysts • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools and methodologies • Good analytical skills and technical aptitude • Good planning and organizational skills • Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills • Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead others
