📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in nuclear materials and safeguards, labelled benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether responses handled technical requests correctly • Write reference answers and explain the technical reasoning behind them • Red-team frontier AI models on misuse-potential judgments • Provide written rationales that non-specialists can follow • Read and write about misuse scenarios for sustained periods

🎯 Requirements

• Experience characterising real nuclear material • Background in nuclear forensics casework or international exercises, radiochemical and mass-spectrometric analysis, detection and interdiction technology, material signature libraries and attribution methodology, or pre-/post-detonation forensics research • Ability to distinguish routine professional questions from potentially dangerous requests • Strong technical writing skills • Ability to write rationales understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal • Must not use classified or export-controlled information, NDA-covered information, or information subject to prepublication review obligations • Applicants with such obligations must disclose them so the work can be scoped accordingly
