📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in the chemistry and chemical safety domain • Label prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether model responses handled technical requests correctly • Write reference answers describing correct responses and the technical reasoning behind them • Test whether frontier AI models can distinguish legitimate technical questions from dangerous misuse requests • Provide written rationales for every judgment that non-specialists can follow

🎯 Requirements

• Experience doing forensic or toxicological chemistry casework • Experience identifying substances and precursors • Experience defending conclusions in a report or on the stand • Relevant background in controlled substance casework, including identification and quantitation • Relevant background in clandestine laboratory response, precursor identification, and scene chemistry • Relevant background in forensic toxicology, including postmortem or human performance casework • Relevant background in seized-drug and precursor trend monitoring or intelligence analysis • Expert testimony and report writing on chemical casework experience • Ability to distinguish routine professional questions from requests involving misuse • Strong writing skills and ability to provide rationales understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is strongly preferred • Include a technical writing sample or link • Must not use classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information • Ability to disclose existing confidentiality obligations so work can be scoped accordingly
