📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in forensic and toxicological chemistry, labelled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether responses handled technical requests correctly • Write reference answers describing correct responses and the technical reasoning behind them • Distinguish routine professional questions from requests seeking dangerous or misuse-enabling information • Provide written rationales understandable to non-specialists • Read and write about misuse scenarios in the field

🎯 Requirements

• Experience conducting forensic or toxicological chemistry casework • Experience identifying substances and precursors • Experience defending conclusions in a report or on the stand • Relevant backgrounds include controlled substance casework in a forensic laboratory, clandestine laboratory response, precursor identification and scene chemistry, forensic toxicology, seized-drug and precursor trend monitoring or intelligence analysis, and expert testimony and report writing on chemical casework • Red-teaming experience is ideally desired • Strong technical writing ability • Every judgment must include a written rationale understandable to a non-specialist • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal • Ability to read and write about field-specific misuse scenarios for sustained periods • Must not use classified or export-controlled information, NDA-covered information, or information subject to prepublication review obligations • Applicants with such obligations must disclose them so the work can be scoped accordingly
