📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in the hazardous-device and public-safety domain • Label prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether each response was handled correctly • Write reference answers describing correct responses and the technical reasoning behind them • Test whether frontier AI models can assess the misuse potential of technical requests • Provide written rationales that non-specialists can follow • Read and write about misuse scenarios in the field for sustained periods

🎯 Requirements

• Background as a certified bomb technician or hazardous device operator • Military EOD experience with civilian public-safety, training, or instruction experience • Bomb squad commander or training officer experience • Experience in post-blast investigation and device reconstruction • CBRNE technical response experience, including standoff assessment, robotics, and disruption tools • Experience assessing real devices on the render-safe and post-incident side under certification and command accountability • Ability to distinguish routine professional questions from requests probing for misuse • Strong writing skills and ability to provide written rationales understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal; applicants should include a sample or link • Must not use classified or export-controlled information, NDA-covered information, or information subject to prepublication review obligations • Applicants holding such obligations must disclose them so the work can be scoped accordingly
