📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in the specialty energetic materials and propulsion domain • Label prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether model responses handled technical requests correctly • Write reference answers describing correct responses and the technical reasoning behind them • Red-team frontier AI models for misuse potential in technical requests • Provide written rationales that non-specialists can follow • Read and write about misuse scenarios in the field

🎯 Requirements

• Specialty materials chemist with experience in pyrotechnics, propulsion, or specialty energetic materials • Formulated, synthesised, and tested specialty energetic materials in a licensed or government facility • Experience distinguishing routine professional questions from potentially harmful requests • Experience with formulation chemistry, synthesis and characterisation of energetic compounds, performance and sensitivity testing, scale-up and process safety, or solid/liquid rocket propellant development • Experience with calorimetry, thermal stability, or small-scale safety testing is relevant • Strong technical writing ability; every judgment must include a rationale understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is strongly preferred • Must not use classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information in the work • Must disclose any continuing obligations involving classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information so the work can be scoped appropriately
