📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety, labeled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether responses were handled correctly • Write reference answers describing correct responses and the technical reasoning behind them • Red-team frontier AI models to assess whether they identify misuse potential in technical requests • Distinguish legitimate process chemistry questions from requests seeking dangerous information • Sustain reading and writing about misuse scenarios in the chemistry domain

🎯 Requirements

• Practical experience running chemical routes and scaling them from bench to pilot to plant • Background in synthetic route design and development in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, or fine chemicals • Experience in process chemistry and reaction engineering, including optimisation, kinetics, and impurity control • Experience with scale-up from bench to pilot to plant and associated safety reviews • Experience with precursor sourcing, controlled-substance registration, or regulatory chemistry • Method development and troubleshooting in a GMP or equivalent quality environment • Ability to distinguish routine professional chemistry questions from potentially dangerous requests • Strong writing skills and ability to provide rationales understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal • Must not use classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information in the work • Applicants with such obligations must disclose them so the work can be scoped accordingly • Sample or link demonstrating technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience requested
