📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety, labelled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether each response was handled correctly • Write reference answers describing what a correct response looks like and the technical reasoning behind it • Red-team frontier AI models on their ability to assess technical-request misuse potential • Draw reliable distinctions between legitimate process-chemistry questions and genuinely dangerous requests

🎯 Requirements

• Background in synthetic route design and development in pharmaceutical, agrochemical or fine chemicals • Experience in process chemistry and reaction engineering, including optimisation, kinetics, and impurity control • Experience scaling from bench to pilot to plant, with the associated safety review • Experience with precursor sourcing, controlled-substance registration, or regulatory chemistry • Experience with method development and troubleshooting in a GMP or equivalent quality environment • Ability to distinguish routine professional chemistry questions from requests with misuse potential • Strong technical writing skills; every judgment must include a rationale understandable to a non-specialist • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal; applicants should include a sample or link • Ability to read and write about misuse scenarios in the field for sustained periods • Must not use classified or export-controlled information, NDA-covered information, or information subject to prepublication review obligations • Qualified applicants must meet applicable legal requirements; reasonable accommodations available upon request
