📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety, labelled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether responses were handled correctly • Write reference answers explaining correct responses and the underlying technical reasoning • Red-team frontier AI models for misuse-potential assessment • Sustain reading and writing about misuse scenarios in the chemistry field

🎯 Requirements

• Practical experience running chemical routes and scaling them from bench to pilot to plant • Synthetic route design and development in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, or fine chemicals • Process chemistry and reaction engineering, including optimisation, kinetics, and impurity control • Scale-up from bench to pilot to plant, including the associated safety review • Precursor sourcing, controlled-substance registration, or regulatory chemistry • Method development and troubleshooting in a GMP or equivalent quality environment • Ability to distinguish routine professional chemistry questions from potentially dangerous requests • Strong writing ability; every judgment requires a written rationale understandable to non-specialists • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is strongly preferred • Must not use classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information • Applicants with such obligations must disclose them so the work can be scoped accordingly
