📋 Description

• Compare pairs of responses to transactional tasks, including contract drafting, redlines, issues lists, due diligence summaries, and deal analyses • Decide which AI-generated response is stronger and explain why • Write concise justifications grounded in source documents and applicable US law • Create realistic legal prompts, fact patterns, and model answers based on transactional experience • Flag errors, gaps, and risky advice in AI-generated legal content • Attend onboarding and calibration sessions • Participate in recurring side-by-side evaluations and legal dataset generation

🎯 Requirements

• Admitted to practice in at least one US state with active bar membership • 3+ years of US transactional practice in areas such as M&A, finance, capital markets, commercial contracts, or corporate matters • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school • Clear writing and close attention to detail • 2+ years of experience at an AmLaw 100 firm strongly preferred • Prior work on legal AI projects with Mercor • Prior data annotation, AI evaluation, or legal-benchmark experience • Must be able to work as an independent contractor • H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
