• Assist department manager(s) with day-to-day operations • Coordinate and supervise co-workers and activities • Assist managers with departmental process improvements • Coordinate departmental changes effectively • Work closely with managers to ensure management continuity and consistency • Proactively identify trends, issues, and problems and possible solutions • Perform all duties and responsibilities consistently with Mercy Values
• High school diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience required • Supervisory experience preferred • Experience with software and systems used in the department preferred • Previous experience in the healthcare field preferred • Effective and professional written and verbal communication with external and internal customers • Good judgment and decision-making skills • Independent thinking and problem-solving abilities • Supervisory skills • Proactive identification of trends, issues, and problems and identification of possible solutions
