📋 Description

• Perform quality control inspections of components from manufacturing and direct-ship vendors • Inspect installations for correct and professional installation • Provide feedback to management and site supervision • Notify sites early about potential issues to reduce punch-list items after commissioning and go-live • Train site teams through hands-on instruction • Inspect sorter components before installation and verify corrections before commissioning • Verify required components are on site before installation dates • Ensure electrical devices and cables are correct, properly labeled, and correctly installed • Troubleshoot installation and commissioning issues and provide solutions • Provide detailed status reports to the QSR Manager • Maintain a standing team able to respond immediately to customer-facility damages after major crashes • Mobilize immediately for emergency repairs • Assist projects when extraordinary circumstances threaten completion dates

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret installation manuals and forms • Ability to clearly communicate in both written and spoken formats • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement • Proficient in Microsoft Office products • Self-motivated and able to work with limited direction • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills • Previous supervisory experience within the conveyor or material handling industry preferred • 3–5+ years in conveyor and/or material handling installation preferred • High school diploma or equivalent • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus • Valid driver’s license and ability to rent a car without a co-renter • Must be able to use a personal vehicle for most travel • Must have own hand tools to bring to sites • Ability to walk, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and similar structures frequently • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs occasionally • Ability to sit/stand frequently for long or intermittent periods • Ability to work in office environments and active construction sites • Ability to work around noise, moving mechanical parts, electrical power and control systems, and high places • Ability to use required personal protective equipment at active job sites • Ability to travel up to 100% to various job sites
