📋 Description

• Coordinate and develop high-quality training and technical assistance for Tribal early childhood programs • Support TCBC staff in developing culturally responsive technical assistance for Tribal CCDF programs • Design technical assistance focused on CCDF administration, capacity building, and implementation of CCDF requirements • Support OCC priorities and special projects, including issue briefs, handouts, brochures, presentation kits, and webinars • Participate in or lead project workgroups • Develop and update the TCBC Resource Development Strategy • Maintain a library of approved templates and an inventory of developed products • Design, develop, distribute, and evaluate targeted and universal training events, including in-person trainings, webinars, peer learning groups, and communities of practice • Apply instructional design, adult learning principles, and Indigenous Storywork • Provide guidance to content developers on the OCC style guide • Coordinate with SMEs and team members to develop and deliver training events • Create project timelines and track milestones, deadlines, resources, reviews, editing, 508 coding, and publication • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, registration, attendance tracking, and virtual platform logistics • Ensure resources follow the OCC Style Guide, approved templates, and 508 coding specifications • Review and copyedit content for voice, grammar, style, plain language, and comprehension • Manage 508 coding and final publication of products to the OCC website • Manage OCC website updates according to the TCBC Work Plan • Maintain contact information spreadsheets and systems for reporting, project management, and training opportunities • Assist with monthly and annual TCBC reports • Develop quarterly Resource Bulletins for Tribal CCDF grantees • Collaborate with ACF Early Childhood National Centers, CCTAN, SCBC, OHS Region XI, PATH, community organizations, child care programs, and early childhood providers • Deliver and facilitate remote and onsite technical assistance for CCDF grantees and partners • Participate in weekly Project Specialists Team and full-team calls • Implement plans and protocols according to the TCBC Project Work Plan

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Administration, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in early childhood services working with children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds • 5+ years of experience offering training and technical assistance within early care and education • Strong consultation, presentation, and facilitation skills • Knowledge of Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) regulations, Head Start performance standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations • Ability to develop training and technical assistance content • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Experience coordinating teams to establish and track project plans, milestones, and timelines for deliverables • Knowledge of current child development practices and research-based early childhood quality improvement methods and approaches • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) • Proficiency with e-learning, webinar, and project management tools including SmartSheet • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for senior management • Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and work limited overtime as necessary • Experience working with Federally recognized Tribes and Native communities preferred • Deep understanding of American Indian and Alaska Native communities preferred • Experience in a leadership position within a CCDF/Head Start Program preferred • Experience providing training at State, Regional, or National Meetings and technical assistance to individual organizations preferred • Experience with policies, early care and education regulations, and systems, particularly CCDF and/or other Tribal/state early learning programs, preferred
