📋 Description

• Conduct in-depth claim investigations • Gather recorded statements and determine coverage • Manage timely and adequate claim reserves • Maintain organized, professional claim files, reports, and communications • Negotiate settlements strategically to achieve fair, timely resolutions • Keep current with legal statutes, policy conditions, and industry trends • Operate within a paperless Claims Management System • Travel as needed for depositions, mediations, and trials • Communicate with policyholders, agents, attorneys, contractors, vendors, and internal business partners • Handle claim investigations, training, meetings, and company events as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years handling Commercial Liability claims, including litigation experience • Experience with construction liability claims is a plus • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Highly organized with keen attention to detail • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting • Experience with mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations • Strong collaboration with legal counsel and claims teams • Dedicated, professional home office workspace • Reliable, high-speed internet service • Ability to work a standard 40-hour workweek within established business hours • Ability to work occasional early morning, evening, or extended hours when required • Ability to use computers, multiple monitors, telephones, and virtual meeting platforms for extended periods • Ability to perform frequent verbal and written communication • Ability to perform primarily sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, stretching, or movement • Occasional travel may be required
