📋 Description

• Build and train models that convert intent into manufacturable geometry across implicit, latent, and B-rep targets • Integrate differentiable simulation and physics-driven optimization into generated shapes • Own the end-to-end training pipeline, including data curation and licensing, pre- and post-training, checkpoints, and evaluation • Develop part segmentation, semantic classification, and spatial comprehension for CAD and mesh data • Lead the research practice by reviewing the field, reproducing relevant methods, and writing go/no-go commercialization memos • Take models to production with measured latency and cost • Collaborate with the computational geometry engineer and the broader team • Build AI-driven generative manufacturing tools for 3D printing, CNC, laser cutting, and other production methods

🎯 Requirements

• Published or shipped generative 3D using diffusion or flow models over implicit, voxel, or latent-set representations, reconstruction, or latent-space optimization, with demonstrable results • Experience with differentiable simulation or physics-driven shape optimization, using finite elements or equivalent physics in the loop • Experience building and running end-to-end training pipelines covering data, training, evaluation, and checkpoints on multi-GPU hardware • Peer-reviewed publications in SIGGRAPH, CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, or equivalent, or production models with measured results • Clear technical writing • Research depth • US work authorization required • Must not require visa sponsorship • May require US-person status for export-control compliance • No degree requirement
