• Provide biopsychosocial assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, joint family therapy, and parent/guardian teletherapy for youth ages 12–26 at high or critical risk of suicide • Use family-systems frameworks, C-CBT, DBT skills, and Motivational Interviewing • Administer validated suicide risk assessment tools such as C-SSRS • Lead real-time safety planning, lethal means counseling, and crisis stabilization • Complete monthly acuity and risk-stratification assessments and adjust care frequency and treatment goals • Direct clinical safety strategy with Care Team Members and the Crisis Center • Respond to high-acuity escalations through immediate risk mitigation, triage, and safety-plan updates • Complete timely DAP documentation supporting medical necessity, suicide risk levels, family interventions, and Medicaid Fee-for-Service billing • Use video, secure messaging, and interactive safety apps for youth and family engagement • Participate in interdisciplinary huddles, maintain registry accuracy, and monitor billable hours, documentation turnaround, and show rates • Collaborate with members, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized plans of care • Develop and coordinate medical, behavioral, suicide-prevention, and social-service resources • Identify and initiate referrals for financial, psychosocial, community, and state supportive services • Document assessments, care plans, referrals, required records, reports, paperwork, and diagnostic records while maintaining confidentiality
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or another applicable behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university • Current Nevada Department of Health (NV DOH) independent behavioral health license • Eligible license: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist • Two or more years of direct experience working with adolescents and adults in the behavioral health field • Crisis intervention training and experience • Knowledge of local resources, social determinants of health, mental health, substance use disorders, interpersonal violence, and social issues • Computer proficiency, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and sound judgment regarding sensitive member information • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams • Ability to provide case management in routine and crisis situations • Ability to independently prioritize and complete assigned tasks • Strong time management, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills • Self-motivated, adaptable team player with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment • Experience in suicide prevention strongly preferred • Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid practices preferred
