📋 Description

• Design and evaluate fire protection systems (alarm, detection, sprinkler, suppression, fire pumps) • Perform hydraulic calculations, system layouts, and equipment selection • Review A/E and contractor drawings for compliance with codes and NFPA standards • Conduct inspections, testing, fire hazard analyses, and field assessments • Develop life safety plans and fire safety programs • Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions • Provide guidance to project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities • Support performance-based design using fire modeling and egress analysis • Deliver training and support system installation, maintenance, and upgrades

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Fire Protection or related field) • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license • 5+ years of engineering experience • 3+ years of fire alarm and suppression system experience • U.S. Citizenship required • Preferred: Healthcare or life safety code experience • Preferred: AutoCAD experience
