📋 Description

• Lead decisions about eligibility for more credit, second cards, or better terms • Use AI-driven tools to accelerate and improve analysis • Adjust strategies as customer behavior and market conditions change • Convert financial data into recommendations that grow the business while managing risk responsibly • Run small market tests and use results to guide future investment • Collaborate with product, data science, engineering, and capital markets teams • Present strategy and results directly to senior leadership • Report to the Senior Director, Portfolio Management

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role • Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or a similarly quantitative field, with a strong academic record • Track record of solving open-ended business problems by framing questions, forming hypotheses, analyzing data, and defending recommendations to stakeholders • Comfort working in SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis • Ability to travel approximately 4–6+ times per year for high-quality in-person collaboration • Understanding of the full card business system, from acquisition to risk to engagement • Ability to analyze underlying assumptions and reasoning • End-to-end ownership of work and quality control • Ability to clearly explain business problems and analysis • Experience working with credit cards or other consumer lending products • Experience helping scale a business in a fast-moving startup environment • Strong SQL or Python skills • Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Cursor • Mission Lane is not sponsoring new applicant employment authorization
