📋 Description

• Perform correct profile entry, processing, and follow-up related to billing resident prescriptions • Communicate with community staff, residents, and/or POAs • Research, investigate, and stay current on different insurance providers • Advocate for residents while supporting the company’s revenue-generating billing function • Adjudicate insurance claims and troubleshoot rejected claims • Complete and follow up on prior authorization forms • Enter data into Framework LTC and Framework ECM systems • Provide prompt and professional customer service by phone, email, and pharmacy messages • Generate monthly statements, process and enter payments, and reconcile third-party claims • Analyze pre- and post-adjudication reports for training opportunities and compliance • Follow core processes and complete duties reliably on a regular, predictable basis

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Commercial insurances • Experience adjudicating insurance claims and troubleshooting rejected claims • Experience completing and/or following up on prior authorization forms • Data entry into Framework LTC and Framework ECM systems • Customer service experience through phones, emails, and pharmacy messages • Experience generating monthly statements, processing and entering payments, and reconciling third-party claims • Ability to analyze pre- and post-adjudication reports for training opportunities and compliance • Ability to follow core processes • Ability to perform required duties on a regular, predictable basis • Minimum of one year pharmacy billing experience • 2+ years pharmacy technician experience • High Diploma or equivalent • Licensed and in good standing as an Illinois Pharmacy Technician • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) • Basic knowledge of algebra and pharmaceutical math • Timely and accurate data entry skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent customer service skills • Highly organized and attentive to detail • Able to multi-task and work under deadlines • Motivated, punctual, and reliable team member
