📋 Description

• Provide individual therapy to clients and their families as indicated • Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to clients and families • Collaborate with the clinical team to meet client needs according to treatment plans • Assist clients in identifying personal interests, goals, strengths, and weaknesses • Facilitate transitions from professional services to community-based services • Promote self-advocacy and center client needs, goals, and objectives in clinical services • Identify and support linkages to recovery, educational, vocational, social, cultural, spiritual, mutual self-help, and professional resources • Identify barriers to participation in community resources and develop strategies to overcome them • Complete session notes, group notes, treatment plans, utilization review reports, and discharge summaries • Attend staff meetings and provide clinical observations and recommendations regarding client care • Participate in weekly supervision with the clinical director • Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed master-level psychologists • Deliver teletherapy services including evaluation, assessment, consultation, treatment planning, case management, coaching, individual therapy, and group therapy • Provide treatment promoting client dignity, independence, individuality, strength, privacy, and choice

🎯 Requirements

• AZDPS Fingerprint Clearance Card (preferred, will be required to obtain) • Licensed in PSYPACT • Hold a PhD • 1 year of experience in behavioral health and addictions (Required) • Knowledge and experience in counseling and case management with mental health and substance abuse clients • Ability to provide services via video conferencing/teletherapy • Knowledge of word processing, video conferencing, email, and spreadsheet software • Ability to prepare, implement, and analyze treatment plans and psychiatric reports • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to plan and organize case workload and manage deadlines • Ability to maintain ethical professional standards, confidentiality, client boundaries, and sensitive information • Competence in respecting cultural differences and diversity and protecting client rights • Knowledge of symptoms of mental disorders, personality disorders, and substance abuse • Knowledge of commonly prescribed medications, side effects, and adverse reactions • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality requirements • Ability to recognize, prevent, and respond to client danger, aggression, crisis situations, or medical emergencies • Comfortable working across multiple time zones
