• Engage daily with clients and teammates to build and sustain positive and productive working relationships. • Monitor device readings and high-volume medical alert alarms with genuine concern. • Contact clients to determine whether further intervention or assistance is required. • Manage inbound calls and all incoming alarm signal activities, taking appropriate action. • Make outbound calls to customers, emergency contacts, and Police/Fire/EMS regarding alarm activities according to standard operating procedures. • Determine response requirements and priorities for situations and health professionals in accordance with established procedures. • Contact individuals by telephone to assess patient alerts by modality. • Follow alert workflows to determine next steps in the call process. • Verify demographics and related data and enter patient information into appropriate systems. • Answer routine inquiries and relay information and messages to health professionals, agencies, departments, and other required parties. • Maintain access to and security of sensitive materials. • Explain products or services and answer customer questions. • Maintain accurate records of contacts, accounts, and orders. • Answer client questions and calls using scripted and non-scripted responses. • Assist with new client enrollment and support existing clients through interdepartmental collaboration. • Interact professionally with clients, Case Managers, and Home Service Representatives. • Troubleshoot devices and report malfunctions for necessary maintenance. • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma required. • Two (2) plus years of related professional or healthcare medical experience. • LPN/CNA/Medical Assistant certification preferred. • Call Center experience preferred. • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • An energetic pace along with a positive attitude. • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and with teams. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficient in managing multiple tasks at the same time. • Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including extended sitting, frequent telephone/headset/computer use, data entry, occasional standing and walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
