📋 Description

• Design across Moises products on Web, Desktop, TV, and Mobile • Maintain a coherent experience as musicians move between platforms • Design products for practicing, learning, rehearsing, songwriting, and music production • Translate complex audio AI capabilities into immediate, intuitive user experiences • Define problems, explore solutions, validate ideas, and deliver products with Product, Engineering, AI, and Data • Conduct and synthesize research with musicians across skill levels and use cases • Contribute to and evolve the scalable design system across platforms • Ship user value daily, from user conversations and messaging alignment to feature delivery • Present ideas to leadership, including the CTO and VP of Product • Collaborate with engineers and other product teams • Give and receive direct, specific design critique • Report directly to the VP of Product • Pair music production expertise with product design skills and contribute to product direction

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience producing music; actively makes music using professional tools • Fluency with DAWs and VST/AU plugins • Understanding of professional audio workflows, including recording, MIDI, mixing, routing, and signal flow • Ideally, experience designing or building instruments, effects, or plugins • 5+ years designing complex software used daily • Portfolio showing powerful technology made simple, including AI-native products and UX challenges of probabilistic systems • Ability to move quickly between fidelities, from sketches to coded prototypes; motion and interaction animation when needed • Experience shipping zero-to-one work amid ambiguity and without established systems or specifications • Mastery of interaction patterns across Web, Desktop, TV, and Mobile • Strong written communication • Ability to conduct user research and turn findings into product direction • Prototyping in code as a default; familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools • Ability to work remotely and coordinate across time zones • Must be a musician with audio production experience
