📋 Description

• Design and continuously improve Monarch's leadership operating system • Develop planning cadences, decision-making frameworks, and operating rhythms • Own the operating mechanics behind quarterly and annual planning • Align company priorities, dependencies, and execution • Drive execution of high-priority cross-functional initiatives • Improve coordination, accountability, and follow-through • Build and evolve operating mechanisms, documentation, and planning artifacts • Partner with founders and functional leaders to identify organizational friction • Improve decision-making and strengthen company operations • Report to the Head of Operations

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff, Management Consulting, or a similar operational leadership role • Demonstrated experience designing or scaling operating systems, planning processes, or company-wide execution mechanisms in a high-growth environment • Experience partnering directly with founders and senior leaders on company-wide initiatives • Exceptional written communication skills and ability to synthesize complexity into clear decisions, frameworks, and operating mechanisms • Strong systems thinking and ability to identify root causes, simplify complexity, and design durable solutions • Outstanding judgment and executive presence • Ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority • Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while maintaining an exceptionally high quality bar • Demonstrated AI fluency; regular use of AI at work and clear judgment on where it helps • Experience leading company planning, including OKRs, annual planning, or quarterly planning (nice to have) • Background in management consulting followed by an operating role (nice to have) • Experience supporting founder-led organizations through rapid scaling (nice to have) • Familiarity with Notion, Linear, Omni / Looker, Slack, and modern AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini (nice to have)
