📋 Description

• Support the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast, including calendars, templates, working sessions, and consolidation • Maintain and extend the three-statement financial model • Support long-range planning and scenario modeling for growth, hiring, and capital decisions • Own departmental financial alignment across Growth, Product, Engineering, People, and CS • Run recurring reviews with department leaders on budget, spend, and headcount against plan • Serve as finance approver in Zip for vendor and purchase requests • Monitor spend in Ramp against plan and maintain the renewal calendar • Provide department leaders visibility into committed and remaining budgets • Flag in-period variances and emerging risks proactively • Help non-finance leaders understand their numbers and connect spend to outcomes • Partner with Accounting through month-end close, including accruals, plan-to-actual reconciliation, and monthly reporting • Produce variance analysis with written commentary • Prepare metrics, schedules, and narrative inputs for investor updates and board reporting • Perform ad-hoc analysis and build decision-support decks for leadership • Improve and automate recurring reporting in Aleph and Omni

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in FP&A or corporate finance, with direct exposure to a full planning cycle • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling • Experience building processes and tools that others can operate • Ability to work through spend divergence with non-finance leaders • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance audiences • Ability to identify and flag surprises and risks early • Comfort building processes where none exist yet • Experience in a subscription, SaaS, or fintech business (nice to have) • SQL and familiarity with BI tooling such as Omni or Looker (nice to have) • Experience with a modern ERP such as Rillet or NetSuite, or planning tools such as Aleph, Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive (nice to have) • Experience with procurement or spend management tooling such as Zip, Coupa, Airbase, or Navan (nice to have) • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (nice to have)
