📋 Description

• Work in concert with the project management team to plan, schedule, organize and direct solar construction projects • Assist the Superintendent in communicating expectations and direction to subcontractors and employees regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control and performance standards • Create and determine work schedules and develop and implement plans to maintain the project schedule • Oversee quality of work performed and adherence to budget in assigned project areas • Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure the project site and company assets are secure • Manage contracts, subcontract documents, drawings and local codes • Maintain a safe working environment by implementing safety and quality control programs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience as an Assistant Superintendent on solar construction projects • Exceptional ability to lead and manage others • Initiative and problem-solving skills • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline, or relevant experience • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus • Computer proficiency • Ability to perform frequent physical activity in indoor and outdoor environments • Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach with hands and arms • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally handle heavier loads with assistance • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise and extreme temperatures
