📋 Description

• The Systems Engineer will work with a field team of Project Management, Systems Engineers, System Technologists, Construction Managers, and Customer Service Managers, and will be responsible for leading technical aspects of the assigned project until system acceptance. • Design and implementation of the radio network including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul and WAN and CEN networks. • High level of customer and consultant interaction involving customer design reviews, customer witnessed staging and acceptance testing events, coverage acceptance testing, live system upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts. • System buildout, configuration and acceptance testing in both lab staging and field environments. • Additional Skills/Knowledge: Networking protocols and devices including RSVP-TE, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, SIP, RTP, SNMP, NAT, routers, switches, and stateful packet firewalls.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 7+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 10 years of engineering or technical experience • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. • Radio Frequency Engineering principles • Land / Mobile Radio Engineering principles • Experience with Motorola ASTRO 25 architecture is a plus. • Servers and related systems to include: VMware ESXI, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems. • Construction of remote communication sites to include: site selection, grounding, compound development, tower and shelter requirements. • Knowledge with point-to-point Microwave systems, Microwave RF & Network design
