📋 Description

• Support the Procurement Manager by providing procurement technical advice to banks in conjunction with agreed procurement strategies • Monitor day-to-day appraisal orders • Build and maintain relationships with a dedicated list of clients • Attend client onboarding meetings and advise new clients • Provide customer service to clients, vendors, and co-workers • Participate in client calls or meetings as requested • Collaborate with the Customer Success Team to communicate client information • Respond accurately and promptly to client and appraiser messages and questions • Escalate difficult, complex, or unusual assignments to the Procurement Manager • Review new orders for clarity and completeness and obtain additional information as needed • Select and assign appraisers according to policies and procedures • Assist team members with orders • Adhere to Procurement processes and procedures • Respond to bid questions • Review and deliver bids to clients • Request documents or information needed to facilitate appraisal orders • Source appraisal bids for complex orders • Follow up with appraisers to ensure timely report delivery • Communicate appraiser updates to clients • Attend weekly team meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Appraisal experience working for financial institutions and/or real-estate appraisal ordering experience from a financial institution • Certified General appraiser license is preferred • Demonstrated knowledge of valuation methods, techniques and forms • Understanding of property rights, including fee simple, leased fee, and leasehold • Knowledge of and experience working with USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) • Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the appraisal valuation process at financial institutions • Knowledge of primary federal financial institution regulators’ regulations and guidelines • Knowledge of state appraisal and appraisal-management-company statutes and board rules • Proactive client-service mentality • Attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Efficiency in responding to written messages through a computer system • Affinity for working in a fast-paced environment • Technological literacy and mastery of navigating standard office software
