📋 Description

• Apply specialized clinical knowledge to hospital partners’ patient medical records • Categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry/case information • Ensure accurate submission of data to specified registries or measure data repositories • Prioritize, organize, and meet tight deadlines for concurrent tasks and team requests • Manage expectations, flag obstacles, and propose timely solutions • Navigate electronic medical records and registry/case entry tools • Troubleshoot technical issues with systems and applications using team resources • Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and business rule documents • Identify process improvements to streamline tasks and processes • Stay current on mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Excel • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • High standards for accuracy and attention to detail • Technical savvy and strong desire to learn new systems and technology • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects/patient records • Clear communication and ability to adjust style and tone for collaboration • Strong self-organization and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple accounts and shifting timelines and priorities • Ability to adapt to changes in timelines, requirements, and project assignments • High degree of responsibility in keeping PHI secure and confidential • At least 1 year of NCDR/ACC abstraction experience in LAAO, TVT, CathPCI, Chest Pain/MI, Afib Ablation, and/or EP Device • Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
