• Develop professional relationships with national and regional scientific leaders • Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain a reliable medical presence • Support Company-Sponsored Trials by explaining scientific foundations and goals, supporting enrollment and retention, and addressing investigator questions • Initiate discussions with potential investigators to assess interest and qualifications for compounds or trials • Recommend potential study sites to Global Clinical Trial Operations and Clinical Research • Address investigator requests regarding participation in Research and Development studies • Address scientific questions from scientific leaders • Share company areas of interest and discuss study concepts to assess scientific merit and strategic alignment • Provide internal guidelines and technical or scientific advice to potential investigators submitting research proposals • Maintain current knowledge through education and training • Direct inquiries outside RMSD responsibilities to appropriate company resources • Identify potential investigators for phase II-IV clinical development programs • Provide high-level information about the Investigator Study Program process • Serve as a role model for field medical team members, including onboarding and therapeutic training • Attend scientific and medical meetings
• Credentialed with a PhD, Pharm.D, MD, or DNP • Clinical patient care or deep research experience in assigned therapeutic areas beyond the terminal degree program • Minimum of 3 years' experience and proven therapeutic competence in oncology • Capable of conducting doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders • Strong focus on scientific education and dialogue • Business and market knowledge, including quality management • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills • Thorough understanding of United States FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) • Must reside within the greater Los Angeles territory • Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory • No visa sponsorship provided
