• Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of key technology products enabling Baldwin’s insurance brokerage lifecycle • Define and refine product vision, strategy, objectives, and outcome-oriented roadmaps • Lead structured discovery through stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, user research, and collaborative workshops • Translate behavioral data, incident trends, and operational metrics into product insights and hypotheses • Create epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria and edge cases for Agile delivery teams • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Operations, Analytics, and business teams on solution options and trade-offs • Own and prioritize product backlogs using customer impact, risk, regulatory needs, dependencies, capacity, and prioritization frameworks • Lead Agile ceremonies including planning, backlog refinement, and reviews • Oversee functional validation, test scenarios, test case design, results review, and work acceptance • Coordinate release readiness, communications, training inputs, support playbooks, monitoring plans, controlled rollout, and early-life support • Define and track product KPIs and success metrics • Analyze product performance and user feedback; run and interpret small experiments such as A/B tests and pilot cohorts • Serve as primary product contact for designated business areas and align priorities and trade-offs • Facilitate cross-functional decisions and present recommendations to leaders and governance forums • Support change adoption with Training, Communications, and local leaders • Provide peer coaching and informal mentoring to Associate and Technology Product Analysts • Contribute templates, lessons learned, and practices to Baldwin’s product management discipline
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, data/analytics, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience consistent with a senior professional role • 4–6 years of progressive experience in product management, product analysis, or closely related roles, including direct ownership of roadmaps and backlogs for business applications or SaaS products • Advanced understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle management • Ability to articulate and maintain product vision and strategy tied to business outcomes, operational efficiency, client value, and risk management • Strong qualitative and quantitative discovery skills, including interviews, workshops, journey mapping, process mapping, and hypothesis development • Proficiency writing epics, features, user stories, non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases • Ability to define product KPIs and diagnostic metrics and partner with Analytics • Solid understanding of web/SaaS product concepts, multi-tier architectures, integrations, APIs, roles/permissions, and environments • Working knowledge of insurance brokerage concepts or ability to develop this expertise quickly • Strong facilitation and communication skills • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and dependencies concurrently • Comfort operating in Agile environments and collaborating with Scrum Masters, Engineers, QA, and other partners • Direct experience with technology products in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or other highly regulated B2B/B2B2C environments preferred • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira or Azure DevOps; Confluence/SharePoint experience preferred • Familiarity with recognized product management frameworks preferred • Experience defining and tracking product KPIs, running small experiments, and using data/analytics tools preferred • Relevant professional certifications are a plus
