📋 Description

• Own the people side of MultiBase for a small, international consulting team • Create a consistent people rhythm including regular contact, development conversations, onboarding, goals and skills records • Provide a trusted, discreet point of contact for colleagues • Run quarterly development conversations independently or with management • Maintain current goals in Sage HR and skills records in MuchSkills • Own the new-starter experience for remote joiners • Identify people issues early and provide senior management with practical recommendations • Document agreed actions, development commitments and important conversations • Own approved recruitment searches from vacancy brief through signed contract • Write and publish job adverts, manage applications, screen candidates and hold structured first conversations • Run application, culture test, case study and management interview stages • Coordinate external recruiters where needed • Provide candidates with meaningful updates within two working days after each stage • Make early-stage progression and rejection decisions within agreed criteria • Report directly to management with no direct reports • Coordinate onboarding with the German office team while backoffice handles personnel administration, contracts, payroll inputs, absences and local compliance

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years in HR, recruitment or people operations, ideally in a small company, scale-up or agency • Experience holding development conversations and building trusted relationships with colleagues • Proven experience running recruitment processes: screening, structured first conversations, candidate communication and pipeline management • Strong organisation and documentation discipline • Sound judgement with confidential employee and candidate information • Cross-cultural awareness and fluent business English, written and spoken; this is essential • Practical daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, with careful review of outputs • A reliable remote setup and at least three to four working hours of overlap with Central European working hours • Residence between CET-2 and CET+2, with the right to work in your country of residence • German proficiency is useful but not required • Experience hiring data, BI or software professionals is useful but not required • Experience with Sage HR, MuchSkills or similar tools is useful but not required • Experience in a distributed international team is useful but not required
