📋 Description

• Collaborate with Munson’s Urology physicians to provide high-quality patient care • Enhance office efficiency and support consultation and follow-up availability • Provide inpatient care and assist with inpatient consultations • Promote, support, and manage urologic medical care for patients in the East Region • Evaluate and review plans of care during scheduled office visits • Manage outpatient care, including histories, physical examinations, tests, procedures, medications, treatment decisions, and follow-up • Complete inpatient histories, physicals, and follow-up documentation • Document evaluations, care, and services in the electronic medical record • Communicate with referring and primary care physicians • Respond to clinic patient telephone inquiries and provide medical care or counseling • Support illness prevention and health maintenance or restoration • Follow Munson Healthcare Advance Practice Provider prescriptive authority guidelines • Maintain current medical knowledge and pursue ongoing professional development • Participate in or support medical, nursing, and community education programs • Meet department productivity requirements and maintain full daily schedules • Monitor the daily appointment schedule and fill open appointment times with staff • Respond to medical emergencies as required

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing OR a Masters in Physician Assistant studies • State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required • Urology experience is preferred but not required • Employees must be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella • Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year hired and annually thereafter, or have an approved medical or religious exemption • Ability to perform comprehensive history and physical examinations • Ability to order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies • Ability to perform in-office procedures • Ability to manage urology medications and make treatment decisions • Ability to complete electronic medical record documentation • EHR experience with Oracle Health
