📋 Description

• Resolve billing-related inquiries from patients, providers, and other internal customers through inbound calls. • Engage with patients via telephone, email, and live chat. • Support clinicians, insurers, and the management team to facilitate prompt account collections. • Work aged accounts. • Research and reconcile credit balance accounts and process adjustments as needed. • Review patient insurance coverage for genetic testing. • Document activities appropriately in process notes. • Participate in the Quality Assurance plan. • Comply with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. • 1+ years of experience in customer service/call center, working in medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferred. • Excellent customer service and phone skills, with good problem solving and decision-making skills. • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills. • Insurance billing experience with working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding preferred. • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently. • Ability to perform stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. • Ability to use equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
