• Support the Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist Data Review team • Communicate with internal and external customers by telephone and electronic channels to obtain or convey missing information for submitted test samples • Track sample collection kits and answer questions about test status • Update internal databases regarding test development progress • Add notes to LIMS cases • Assist CLS/MLS Data Reviewers with questions from clinics and customer support • Coordinate report release requests from Genetic Counselors and Customer Support • Process information needed for patient genetic testing samples, reports, and billing • Maintain shared spreadsheets and perform clerical tasks • Handle protected health information in paper and electronic form • Perform other duties as assigned
• Temporary position for 6 months • Minimum of 2 years of customer service or clerical experience • Experience with Google Mail and Google Documents • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite • Basic typing with excellence in spelling and grammar • Ability to maintain professional customer communications • Ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material • Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire • Must maintain current status on Natera training requirements • Two-year degree or equivalent preferred • Problem analysis and problem-solving experience preferred • Data collection and maintenance experience preferred
