• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with GI oncology healthcare providers and key opinion leaders within a defined territory • Deliver accurate, balanced, clinically relevant education on Natera’s GI oncology molecular diagnostics and clinical data • Drive territory strategy and adapt as Medical Affairs priorities shift • Identify and communicate GI oncology treatment trends, unmet clinical needs, and competitive dynamics • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in a timely, compliant, and scientifically rigorous manner • Support Medical Affairs initiatives, including advisory boards and medical education programs • Act as a subject matter expert on gastrointestinal oncology disease states, clinical data, and the broader diagnostics market • Partner with commercial and clinical teams to support patient care while maintaining scientific integrity • Adhere to healthcare regulations and internal standards • Support and coordinate clinical trial and research initiatives at academic institutions and regional study sites • Track territory engagement and document actionable clinical insights • Travel 60–70% across the territory for clinical engagement and conferences • Adapt to emerging scientific and clinical needs across the GI oncology portfolio
• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree preferred (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., D.N.P.) • Minimum of a Master's degree required • Prior Medical Affairs or MSL experience in GI oncology or molecular diagnostics preferred • Must reside within the assigned territory • Technical expertise and research ability to explain complex genetic testing data and clinical products to GI oncology specialists • Experience establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with internal teams and external customers • Ability to work independently and remotely • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build structure and processes • Ability to communicate clinical evidence clearly without heavy jargon • Flexibility to adjust quickly to unexpected clinical tasks or strategy shifts • High personal accountability, ownership, and sound scientific judgment • Ability to travel extensively • Ability to support evening or weekend clinical meetings when necessary • Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire • Must maintain current status on all Natera organizational training requirements
