📋 Description

• Assist in testing and repairing UPS systems and batteries • Perform routine maintenance and inspections under supervision • Support troubleshooting and repair of UPS systems and associated electrical components • Respond to emergency calls 24/7 when necessary • Learn to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals • Maintain accurate service records and documentation • Adhere to all safety programs and policies • Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction • Maintain and secure company tools and equipment

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Technical or vocational training in electrical or electronics preferred • Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices • Mechanical aptitude • Proficient with hand and power tools • Strong willingness to learn and grow • Ability to follow detailed instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively • Ability to work in data centers, industrial sites, and other environments • Valid driver’s license with auto insurance • Computer literacy and ability to perform basic operations on administrative software • Well organized and able to work independently • Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds • Must reside within the Quad Cities Area during the one-year Apprentice Program • Familiarity with battery systems, inverters, or power distribution equipment preferred but not required • Experience using multimeters and other diagnostic equipment preferred but not required • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred but not required
