📋 Description

• Assist the Navitus Chief Legal Officer and Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory. • Draft legal documents, templates, memorandums, and correspondence. • Manage document templates and corporate legal records. • Perform records and legal research. • Inform the development of new Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective. • Provide guidance on legal issues that help shape the organization’s direction and impact. • Provide legal counsel to Navitus staff members on the implications of business objectives. • Ensure staff are informed of applicable policies and practices. • Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes. • File legal documents and correspondence in digital and physical filing systems. • Develop processes for indexing and filing legal documents and managing contracts. • Participate in and support Continuous Quality Improvement activities and compliance program objectives. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a law degree through an accredited program required. • License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred. • 5 years of experience working in legal required. • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
