📋 Description

• Edit and proofread transcripts for accuracy, formatting, and customer requirements on fast turnarounds • Timecode and synchronize transcripts to video projects, including meetings, hearings, conferences, and feature films • Record high-quality audio and/or video of meetings, hearings, and conferences using recording equipment • Provide transcription, post-production captioning, and live event audio/visual recording support, including webcasts • Interface with customers, colleagues, and division/executive leadership • Lead individual and group assignments • Work independently within a collaborative team structure • Learn new technology and software independently • Travel to customer sites and provide collaborative support to other divisions • Create efficiencies benefiting customers, the team, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance, including passing a criminal background and credit check • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, multimedia editing, video, audio, or a related field, or additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree • 1+ years of professional experience and/or at least 4 years of comparable academic work experience • Experience editing and proofreading transcripts • Experience with industry-related software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications • Ability to manage competing deadlines • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability • Base schedule availability between 9am–5pm Eastern Time Zone, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends • Ability to travel locally and occasionally nationally to customer sites • Equal opportunity and work authorization compliance requirements, including E-Verify eligibility
