📋 Description

• Create the vision, mission, and roadmap for Nearmap’s government products • Own the overall commercial success of assigned products • Develop deep expertise in government customers, workflows, use cases, and pain points • Become a subject matter expert in government product offerings, including property assessment, asset and portfolio management, public safety, and disaster response • Translate customer and business needs into actionable requirements • Define product metrics to measure traction and health • Build and champion business cases for new product opportunities • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to identify customer pain points, opportunities, and sales objections • Speak directly with customers to understand product usage and discover new product concepts • Share customer insights with stakeholders to align on vision and action plans • Build relationships with technology platforms and channel partners • Listen to sales and customer success calls to understand customer priorities • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, GTM, legal, product leaders, and other departments to prioritize, ship, and grow products • Comply with company standards, Code of Conduct, and local statutory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience building B2B SaaS and/or enterprise data products • Experience working with or selling to government customers is a strong plus • Familiarity with public sector procurement and how local, state, and federal agencies work together is a strong plus • Experience with geospatial data is a big plus • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience • Ability to define and justify a product roadmap • Proven track record of building and shipping 0-to-1 products and incremental improvements • Strong written communication for technical and non-technical audiences • Confident and clear speaking skills in varied settings • Experience with geospatial technology and remote sensing is a nice to have • Familiarity with Esri, Autodesk, or Bentley products is ideally desired • High agency and strong bias for action • Commercial judgment and ability to prioritize competing needs • Analytical and data-driven approach
