📋 Description

• Own the analytical understanding of Netlify’s product-led growth performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention • Identify opportunities proactively before they become requests • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn behavioral insights into product bets • Define experiments, measurement approaches, success metrics, and interpretation of results • Lead experimentation from hypothesis through decision, including study design, methodology, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations • Apply statistical rigor and help teams develop sound decision-making judgment • Build scalable analytical systems including semantic models, trusted metrics, proactive monitoring, and AI-powered agents • Use AI to accelerate investigations, automate recurring analytical work, and test more hypotheses • Identify and close gaps in measurement, event instrumentation, and metric definitions with Data and Product Engineering • Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership • Influence investment decisions, roadmap priorities, and product strategy through evidence and product judgment

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science • Track record of high ownership and measurable impact on PLG or consumer product outcomes • Deep understanding of activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention dynamics • Ability to turn behavioral data into product hypotheses and carry them through experimentation and measured outcomes • Deep expertise in experimentation, including study design, statistical reasoning, and causal inference • Experience building metrics layers, monitoring frameworks, or semantic models • Active use of AI tools to accelerate investigation, automate repetitive work, and surface patterns • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and product direction through analytical reasoning and clear recommendations • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces • Strong written and verbal communication skills in distributed environments • Resume or short listing of job history and skills required when applying • Cover letter explaining interest in the role is appreciated but not required
