📋 Description

• Teach Legal Assisting/Paralegal Studies within an assigned period • Serve as a teacher, mentor, colleague, and scholar • Develop instructional materials and organize instruction to enhance student learning • Prepare course syllabi and teach classes • Be accessible to students through email, phone, scheduled office hours, or other times • Evaluate student work and maintain accurate records of students’ academic standing using the LMS • Provide timely constructive, encouraging, and corrective feedback • Respect the confidentiality of student information • Perform other assigned functions and comply with College policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Thorough and accurate knowledge in the field/discipline • Bachelor's Degree required • Master's Degree in Law/Legal Assisting/Paralegal Studies required • 5 years of experience in a CRMJ occupation directly related to the subject being taught • Proficiency in the technical area of expertise • Knowledge of current teaching trends, techniques, resources, and technology for onsite and virtual learning • Ability to develop instructional materials and prepare syllabi • Ability to use an LMS to evaluate student work and maintain accurate academic records • Positive interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to maintain student confidentiality • Ability to meet classes as scheduled • Ability to fulfill all expectations of adjunct faculty
